Life Reflections
Mr. Bozie Jones was born on January 3, 1944, in Kershaw County to
the late Deacon Walker and Ivory Lee Jones. He attended Kirkland
Elementary School and Jackson High School in Camden, SC. Bozie
accepted Christ at an early age, and became a member of White
Oak Baptist Church in Camden, SC. Where he served on the junior
choir.
Bozie was a coat cutter at Springer Paterson, NJ for 19 years. He
was a machine operator at International Wire Wyckoff, NJ for nine
years. He also worked for Okonite Cable Company in Paterson, NJ
for fourteen years.
In his later years of life Bozie met and married the love of his life
for 56 years Mary Gaskins Jones. To this union no maternal kids was
born, but together they reared four children as if they were their
own. Nephews: Kirrim, David, and Burton Gaskins, and one niece:
Jennifer Gaskins
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his loving and
devoted wife of 56 years Mary Jones, one daughter Sylvia Warren,
one brother Mr. Jammie Jones of Marion, SC one sister Ms. Allie
Wimberly of Paterson, NJ. Four paternal children: Kirrim Gaskins,
David Gaskins, Burton Gaskins, and Jennifer Gaskins. Two brother-in
laws: Joe (Cherry) Gaskins of Paterson, New Jersey; Frank (Cynthia)
Gaskins of Florence, SC. Three sisters in law: Wilhelmina Brown
of Paterson, New Jersey, Joyce Burgess and Aida Graham both of
Lake City, SC. One God daughter Mary Hickson of Camden, SC,
Two grandchildren. four great grandchildren, best friend Warren
Kennedy and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and family.
