James Taylor Obituary

James Earl Taylor, son of the late Mr. Rubin Lee Taylor and Letha Coles-Taylor was born on March 25, 1953, in Williamsburg County. He attended Carver High School of Lake City, SC. For a brief period of time, he attended Pleasant View FWB Church of Hemingway, SC.
He was employed by Lake City Lumber and multiple trucking companies throughout his career. Earl loved his family, fishing, hunting, and barbecuing.
On Saturday, June 17, 2023, Earl answered the call from God and went to His Heavenly Home.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his brother, Jessie James Taylor (Janie Mae Taylor, Surviving Spouse).
Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his loving and devoted wife: Bobbie Taylor of the home; one loving daughter: Mary Taylor (Dedrick McDowell) of Lake City, SC; four faithful sons; Ervin Taylor of Lake City, SC, Rubin Lee (Samantha) Taylor of Lake City, SC, Jamie Graham of Lake City, SC, and Timothy (Renata) Taylor of Columbia, SC; five sisters: Ada Mae (David) McClary of Lake City, SC, Annie Louse White of Baltimore, MD, Italene Taylor of Lake City, SC, Mary (Glynn) Hicks of Lake City, SC and Dorothy Washington of Hemingway, SC; four brothers: James (Mary) Taylor of Hemingway, SC, Julius Lee Taylor of Lake City, SC, Richard (Mary) Taylor of Lake City, SC and Eddie (May) Taylor of Lake City, SC. A special brother-in-law Lavern (Vivian) Graham of Pompano, FL; twenty-one grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
