Life Reflections
Jonnie Lee Smith was born in Florence County to the late Joseph Smith Sr and
Pastor Natha Mae Fairmon. In her early years, Jonnie received her education
in the Florence County Public School System. She was a resident of Sumter
County and built a home at the Sumter County Disabilities and Special Needs
Center until her untimely passing.
Jonnie was known for her radiant smile that you would see whenever she entered
a room. Jonnie’s warm beautiful smile was one of the reason her presence
was heavily felt wherever she would go. Jonnie presence was illuminating
inspiration and upliftings.
Jonnie was like a beautiful daffodil and violet array. She was loving, caring, and
carefree. Everyone adored her warmth and compassionate personality. She
was such a gentle soul.

Nathan Brockington. Faternal grandparents: Martha Ann Smith and Pastor
