  Life Reflections 

Judy Bell Witherspoon Moore was born in Cades, South Carolina on February 17, 1949 to Dozier & Iva Witherspoon. Judy entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2024 in Fairfax, VA surrounded by family.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband Frizell J. Moore and siblings Marion Estelle, Dozier Jr., Hester Katherine, and Mary Alma.

Judy graduated from Carver High School in Lake City, SC in 1966 where she later received her Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Science from South Carolina State University in 2013 at the age of 63.

Judy dedicated her career to nurturing young minds with Pee Dee CAP Head Start for 40+ years. 

Judy was a dedicated member of the Historical Greater St. James AME Church where she served on the Ever Ready Club, Trustee Board, Daughters of Sarah, Combined Choir, and many other organizations. 

Judy was a woman of class, style, and love. Her love for the Lord and church illuminated her path, inspiring all who knew her. Though she may have bid farewell to this earthly realm, her spirit and love will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
