With deepest sympathy, we at Graham and Godwin Funeral home regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Oree Brown Crosby of Kingstree, South Carolina.

Life Reflections

Oree Brown Crosby, was born on July 21, 1934, in Andrews, SC to the late Leila Brown.

Oree received her education in the Bloomingvale Community, Elementary and High School located in Andrews, SC. She was employed by Baxter Healthcare Corp., of Kingstree, SC for 34 years where she retired. She was a lifelong member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Kingstree, SC.

Oree spent her last years in the Carlyle Senior Care Nursing Home, Kingstree, SC.

Oree was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Crosby, Jr., a son, Glenn

"Spank" Crosby; her sisters, Bertha Lee Hooks, Emma White, Catherine Watson, Pernerva Curry, and Ceola Butler; and a sister-in-law, Geneva Oliver.

Oree leaves to cherish her memories: Her only surviving son, Roy Harison Crosby of Lake City, SC; her daughter-in-law, Linda Rose Crosby of Lake City, SC; two grandsous: Desi Deron Crosby of Columbia, SC; and Timothy Harrison (Ebony) Crosby of Sununerville, SC; one granddaughter, Ashley Sommer (Captain Albert) Scott, Jr., of Bartlett, TN; one great-grandson, Jordan Salters of Greenville, SC; and one great- granddaughter, Zion Gibson of Blakley, SC; one surviving sister, Willa Fae Watson of Andrews, SC; one surviving brother-in-law, Bishop Aaron Curry of Miami, FL; two surviving sisters-in-law, Julia Strong of Kingstree, SC; and Psnovia Pressley Kingstree, SC; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.
