Rebecca Nelson was born in Nesmith, SC on March 10, 1949 to the late Josephine Williams and John Henry.

Rebecca was affectionately known as Beck, G, Grandma Beck and Annie by those who loved and cared for her. She was known for her love of her flowers, chickens and spicy personality. Her home is a place where you experience timeless antiques and décor. 

Rebecca is preceded by her husband Sonny Nelson, older daughter Gloria Singletary, sister Minnie Graham, Mary Williams; She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories; daughter Fannie Williams of Nesmith, SC, Leroy (Peaches) Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sonny (Mildred) Nelson of Nesmith, SC , Jerry Nelson of Rochester, NY Daniel (Sylvia) Nelson of Nesmith, SC, Dennis (Naykeisha) Nelson of Nesmith, SC, Anita Nelson of Nesmith, SC; son in law Simon Singletaryof Hemingway, SC; Brother Johnny (Rosa Lee) Williams of Johnsonville, SC; sisters Sadie (Joe) McKnight of Rochester, NY, Betty Barr of Tallahassee, FL; sister/friend Betty Cuttino of Johnsonville, SC and Hallie Brown of Nesmith, SC; along witha host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and who loved Rebecca so dearly.
