Life Reflections
On Friday, December 29, 2023, the spirit of Mr. Rollie Rim
Randolph went to join the savior in that home not built by
man, but whose Maker and Builder is God.
Mr. Rollie Rim Randolph, known to some as Raleigh, was
born May 7, 1948 in Williamsburg County to the late Mr. and
Mrs. Alex (Isabella) Randolph. He received his education at
Tomlinson High School of Kingstree, SC.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mrs. Virginia Lee
Randolph. They had forty-two-year marriage before her passing
and to this union they were blessed with two sons and one
bonus son, one daughter-in-law, four wonderful grandchildren,
and two great grandchildren. He loved his family and friends.
He was a great listener. Raleigh always gave his input, and his
input was always right. Raleigh always stood for “I been there
done that, and I know what I’m talking about.”
Raleigh worked many jobs including a career as a CNA,
construction worker, but retired from Drexel.
At and early age, he accepted Christ as his personal savior and
enjoyed Christian fellowship and praising God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Linda and
Yvonne; and grandson, Trayvon.
Those left to cherish his memories are three sons: Tyrone
(Katina) Randolph, Craig Randolph, and Eldrick Burgess
(and his wife); two sisters: Joette Randolph and Chelestine
Randolph; two brothers: Ceaser and Alex Randolph; four
brothers-in-law: James McFadden, Jackie (Myra) McFadden,
Henry McFadden and Jerry (Lorraine) McFadden; one sister-
in-law, Annie (Edwards) Grayson; four grandchildren: Jabari,
Keira, Jalin and Jared; two great-grandchildren; and a host of
aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
