Life Reflections
Sebrena Thames McClain gained her wings January 27, 2024,
after a long illness. She was born August 2, 1970, to Roosevelt
Thames Sr, and Mary Singletary.
She lived in New York for many years and later moved to Charlotte,
NC and resided there until God saw fit to call her home. She was
employed at Northlake Dermatology until her health failed. She
always said she wanted to find a church like Great Commission
Ministries, and she found Judah Church where she served and
volunteered until she wasn’t able to do so. Her favorite saying was
“ I am the apple of God’s eye”.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Breonca Thames.
Those left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, John
McClain; two devoted daughters: Ebonee and Desjah Jones both
of Charlotte, NC; her loving parents: Roosevelt Thames (father),
and Mary Singletary (mother)of Lake City, SC; three caring sisters,
Valerie (George) Burney, Shandreka Davis and Marlon (Reginald)
Brown all of Lake City, SC; two brothers: Roosevelt Thames,
Jr of Lake City, SC, and Sandro (Renee) Thames of Boston,
Massachusetts; two aunts: Regina Burrows of Ft. Lauderdale,
Fl, and Cassandra (Ellis) McCendon; and a host of very special Cousins, nephews, other relatives and friends.
