Wakeisha La’Chandria Kirby was born on November 14, 1976, to
the late Jimmy Kirby and Elizabeth A. Hickson. Wakeisha was born
in Florence, South Carolina, she passed away peacefully Monday,
May 27, 2024.
Wakeisha attended West Florence High School. She was a loving
mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Those in the community
loved her for her sweet soul.
Wakeisha preceded in death by three brothers, Kelton Hickson,
Jerome Hickson and Danny Hickson.
Those left to cherish her precious memories are one devoted daughter,
Tar’Aijah Kirby of Florence, SC; four loving sons: Johnathan
Kirby of Florence, SC, A’Keivionte Graham of Florence, SC,
Ya’Keegan Kirby of Olanta, SC and Isaiah Kirby of Olanta, SC;
a loving sister: Lula Hickson of Florence, SC; two devoted brothers
Wesley Hickson of Missouri and Marquis Herring of Olanta, SC;
six precious grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
other relatives and dear friends.
