Life Reflections
The late Mrs. Willie Mae Peterson
Shavers answered her calling
and entered into eternal rest
on December 24, 2023. She
was born on August 10, 1941,
in Williamsburg County, South
Carolina. A daughter of the late Elise Fulmore Peterson
and the late Prophet Peterson. She received her
education in the Williamsburg County Public School
System. At an early age, she accepted the lord as her
savior and joined Mt. Carmel
Holiness Church. In 1958, Willie
Mae met the love of her life and
was joined in holy matrimony to
the late Harry Lee Shavers. She
was a loving mother, grandmother,
and great grandmother and on
December 24th she gained the title
and was crowned an angel.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son,
Ernie Shavers.
Those left to cherish her precious
memories are her three loving
children: Cheryl Shavers of
Lake City, SC, Stevie (Robin)
Shavers of Chesapeake, VA, and
Tomeco Shavers of Lake City,
SC; two devoted brothers: Jack
and John Peterson of Lake City,
SC; three dedicated sisters: Mary
Singletary, Inell Hanna, and Quinnie Peterson; twelve
grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
